Design and Display
The Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2340×1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and peak brightness of ~2600 nits. The front and back are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with an Armor Aluminum 2 frame. It measures 149.6 × 71.7 × 7.2 mm and weighs 167 g. The device is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance and includes an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Performance
The S26 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm) in the US, China, and Japan, and Exynos 2600 (2 nm) in other regions. The CPU configuration is Octa-core (2×4.74 GHz + 6×3.62 GHz) with Adreno 840 GPU. It comes with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, with no expandable card slot. The phone runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5, supporting up to 7 major OS updates.
Camera System
The rear camera setup is triple-lens:
- 50 MP wide (f/1.8, 24mm, 1.0µm, OIS, PDAF)
- 10 MP telephoto (f/2.4, 3× optical zoom, OIS)
- 12 MP ultrawide (f/2.2, 120° FOV, 1.4µm)
The front camera is 12 MP wide (f/2.2, 26mm, 1.12µm) with HDR support. Video recording supports 8K@30fps, 4K@60fps, 1080p up to 240fps, and features Super Steady mode with Horizon Lock.
Battery and Charging
The S26 has a 4300mAh Li-Ion battery with 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. It offers up to 31 hours of video playback.
Connectivity
The device supports 5G (SA/NSA/Sub6), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C 3.2, and multiple global LTE and 3G bands. It also includes GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and QZSS for positioning.
Sensors and Features
The S26 includes accelerometer, gyro, barometer, proximity, light, geomagnetic, and hall sensors, along with Samsung DeX support. It supports dual SIM (Nano + eSIM) and offers stereo speakers.

Available colors include Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black, White, Silver Shadow, and Pink Gold. Models include SM-S942B, SM-S942U, and variants with dual SIM.
